About this project

Umuti Express lets people in Lusaka order medicine online instead of going from pharmacy to pharmacy. Customers browse the catalogue, find partner pharmacies on a map, and choose delivery or pickup. Prescription medicines need a prescription first. Customers upload a photo of it, and a pharmacist reviews it before the order goes ahead. Each upload is stored privately, readable only by the customer who sent it and by pharmacy staff. Payment is by MTN or Airtel mobile money through Lenco. After that, customers can track the order, reorder past purchases in one step, and chat with a pharmacist.
