The Great Achievers Network

About this project

The Great Achievers Network supports young girls in Zambia through mentorship and education, helping them stay in school and finish it. I designed, built and look after their website. The site tells their story through the people involved. It has pages for the team with a profile for each member, testimonials from the girls and families they've worked with, a photo gallery, and a blog for news and updates, such as their menstrual hygiene talks and the Keeping the Girls in School conference. Posts, testimonials and team profiles all come from one content file, so adding a story is a small change rather than a new page. Volunteer sign-ups, the contact form and the newsletter are handled by small serverless functions that send the submissions by email.
